Mei is my second sister.
She is a very cool person; She is different from others.
I accept who she is, and it will always be.
I am very proud of her.
It could be probably her coolness or "beautiful" tattoos.
Mei is like a guardian of mine.
I always feel a very strong sense of security when I am with my two older sisters.
I LOVE that feeling. :)
As we wanted to make this birthday special for her, Alicia and I made the cake by OURSELVES!
COOL RIGHT?
It was a cheese cake, with biscuit & butter mixture as base, strawberry as the main lead (did not expected it to be so sour..) and lastly, cover the cake with a layer of strawberry flavor jelly.
Surprisingly, i was told that it turn out to taste not bad.
The friends even thought the cake was bought. (there cake is selling in S'pore too)
The reasons why i was so shocked by the feedback was as below.
Firstly, i got this recipe from ST newspapers.
It was not very difficult to make but needed long hours, such as to freeze the cake etc.
The best thing is it does not need oven! (troublesome..)
Secondly, it was my TRUE & REAL FIRST TIME of making cheese cake.
Alicia and I had the thought to try out first but there was not much time left.
Therefore, we had only ONE PRECIOUS chance.
The ingredients are easily accessible. (cream cheese is expensive..)(Digestive biscuits are really NICE!)(got the wrong milk, i think..)
Thirdly, as Alicia and I were making the cheese section, it tastes WEIRD, REALLY WEIRD...
A sour and non-sweet taste.
The first thought came to us was FAIL!
We were able to convince ourselves: it was alright, we still have the jelly to salvage the failed cake.
Lastly, it turned to be not as nice as what we had seen on the recipe.
We had modified some parts of it as we were left with no other choice.
Finally, the cake was frozen, and edible.
It was counted half successful.
After all, the cake was brought to TPY to celebrate the birthday, together with mum and uncle.
My both sisters, Alicia and their friends went to USS for a full whole day! (I was not able to join as i had school... :'/)
Mei had a surprised for that.
As usual, we sang birthday song.
We took many photos to record down these memorable and precious moments.
Below are some of the pictures that had been taken by polaroid.
ENJOY!!
The cake was supposed to look like this.
But turn out to be the one below..
(not very clear.. as no close up photos)
They both looked similar, the shape and the color.
The heart shapes of strawberry had been replaced with shapes of small cube. :D
The present that i had bought for her.
Shopped with my GD S. at Bugis. :)
The present that my GD S. had bought for her. :)

Those polaroid photos taken had been put into this scrapbook made by Alicia. :)
It contains wishes too. :)
